Summary of Act V, Scene 5
Lady Macbeth begins to go mad over her murders. Soon after her panic attack, she dies. Macbeth hears the news about the war which is on his doorstep. Macbeth begins to feel emotions again, including the feeling of fear. Macbeth also discovers that the witches prophecy of "His throne is safe until Birnam Wood comes to Dunsinane" has come true, meaning that he is in great danger. Macbeth becomes ready to fight Macduff in war.
