Bio Poem Activity
Students are to create a bio poem about Macbeth. They are to include adjectives and descriptive language that highlights some of the characteristics of Macbeth. Your bio poem must include at least three adjectives and a quote from the play. Be creative and look at the scaffold below fro more advice on how to write a bio poem.
(Line 1) First name
(Line 2) Three or four adjectives that describe the person
(Line 3) Important relationship (daughter of . . . , mother of . . . , etc)
(Line 4) Two or three things, people, or ideas that the person loved
(Line 5) Three feelings the person experienced
(Line 6) Three fears the person experienced
(Line 7) Accomplishments (who composed . . . , who discovered . . . , etc.)
(Line 8) Two or three things the person wanted to see happen or wanted to experience
(Line 9) His or her residence
(Line 10) Last name
You do not have to use this template, be as creative as you want. An example I made before includes:
Macbeth
Fierce, ambitious, submissive, guilt-ridden.
A man that was loyal,
Now insane.
Coward to his acts,
Murderer to his land.
A man that had it all,
A man that lost it all.
Eyes deranged by craziness,
Hands shaking from thick blood falling from daggers.
"Sleep no more, for Macbeth does murder sleep"
Paranoid, guilty, tyrant, zealous
All hail,
King Macbeth.
