Diary Entry

Diary Entry Task 

Students are to pretend they are Macbeth in Act V, Scene V. You have just heard the news about Lady Macbeth's death and the news about the soldiers declaring war on you. How are you feeling? Are you scared or fearful? Record your thoughts and emotions in a diary entry including the date and a signature by Macbeth. 

You may also wish to include your plan to win the battle or a plan to kill Macduff. Be creative and use your imagination. Make sure you include your feelings and thoughts. If you need help on writing your diary entry, click on the link below for some helpful tips or ask your teacher for advice.
